A great story song performed by two season musicians, Ray Charles and Willie Nelson. The song was written by Troy Seals and Eddie Setser, and recorded by Ray Charles and Willie Nelson during the mid 1980’s.

There has been numerous international covers of the award-winning song placing it at the top various international charts in 1986. In 2015, Nelson was given the Library of Congress Award for his version of the song with Ray Charles being the most popular.
