This song was written by Roger Penzabene as a testament to his love for his wife. After learning of her cheating he was heartbroken. He then wrote “I Wish It Would Rain’ describing his pain, then finally “I Could Never Love Another” to finish the trilogy of how he felt.
Unable to handle the extreme pain and unwilling to leave his wife, he wrote the last two songs as personal statements to her, publicizing the pain she caused him. After both songs were completed and recorded, tragically Roger committed suicide. Yt
Many thanks!
Rather sad….
Very much so Steve. 💔

Very good! I am evolving/studying myself…much to do
There’s much work to do Steve and so little time. Never before has the world been able to communicate across the world to millions and billions of people in seconds. We should all give our energies at spreading the gospel, the good news, to the ends of the earth. God is watching.
OMG I didn’t know that was the reason for his suicide.
Yep.😢
Sad.
