“Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” By Hauser on Cello

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!“, also known as simply “Let It Snow“, is a song written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945. It was written in Hollywood, California during a heat wave as Cahn and Styne imagined cooler conditions.

Although there have been many covers and versions of the song, it never loses flair, no matter the interchanges of the rhythm and rhymes.

Some of the cover artists have been:

  • Frank Sinatra version
  • Dean Martin version
  • Jessica Simpson version
  • Rod Stewart version
  • Carly Simon version

Do you have a vocal and or musical preference for this song?

For now, you can enjoy the Croatian Cellist Stjepan Hauser’s version..

    1. Oh it is a great feel to view. Thanks for your appreciative feedback. Snow is not my weather but my mind explores the season of it for festive year end days. Thanksgiving was well-celebrated on this end with family, good eats, conversations and coziness. I am sure your’s was plentiful and full of magic. I love the colonial feel and history. 🍂🎶🍮🍮❤️🦃🥧🍽

        1. We had a fantastic, festive one with all the comforts and trimmings of the USA traditions. We have to hold onto the good times of traditions of which many attempts are being made to pull them from us, as we speak. I say it is keeping love alive.
