This is a great old song. I like the lyrics they are really cleaver. I like the line “you could steal a sailor from the sea” great line! What a blast from the past my friend. Thank you as always for the memories. Hope you are having an outstanding day my friend. I can’t send you coffee cups because I am on the reader but just think I am sending you your own band to entertain you all night with every song you want them to play, so you have to have some good java to stay up all night. Have a great time dancing all around your house with the band. Love Joni

The beach feel that the song gives is a serious reflection. He is torn … which is so understandable. I would be a stowaway for him! Thanks for sharing this song memory, Joni . I do hope your Monday is going smoothly and bring forth the best of smiles and relaxation! I am partying with a coconut caramel chocolate latte! 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈👌🌺💕💕🌺
“a coconut caramel chocolate latte! “ oh boy does that sound wonderful. Yum yum. Your so cute a “stowaway for him” that sounds like it needs to be a poem. Hugs my friend, you will be hopping around like the bunnies in our yard after drinking that yummy drink. Hugs my dear friend. Joni

A great song. Unfortunately, I think they were kind of a one-hit-wonder. I am not aware of any other song by Looking Glass that I have listened to. Are they out there?
They were but I love them the one hit… it is still big!!
