Forty-two year old singer and songwriter Beth Hart is arguably best known for her performance of another R&B standard of a similar vintage, Etta James’ signature 1967 tearjerker “I’d Rather Go Blind.” Rock guitarist Jeff Beck asked Hart, who had once toured as the ex-Yardbird’s featured vocalist, to be part of the tribute he was putting together for Chicago blues legend Buddy Guy for the 2012 Kennedy Center Honors. She suggested “I’d Rather Go Blind,” which Hart had recorded with contemporary blues-guitar badass Joe Bonnamassa on their 2011 album Don’t Explain. She killed it, and watched as her career got bumped to a different level practically overnight. houstonpress.com

Her voice vibrant and voluptuous!
I agree!
She has put forth an interesting career.
Yes indeed!
Yes she has had a very striving life. So early on in her life she appeared on star search tv, she won and from there, she continued on making her way.
Lung capacity is her gift’💦🐬
I agree Mermaid.🤔
Beth vocals are powerful!
Yess!
Etta James? Not a cover, but a match.
Etta would smile!💕
Splash!💦
Go Beth!
I think she is doing just that. I was so taken when I first heard Beth sing. I took a recess and I went back for more. Beth’s vocals are strong and well trained.
A challenging cover for the Etta James version. ❤️
Beth is a tough lady!💕☕️☕️
An audience puller. She has a good voice.
I don’t believe we have seen Beth in the ultimate… because I believe she has more songs coming. Our share here is a tribute but Beth has recorded her own songs, and they are passionate!💕☕️☕️
