Blind Faith “Can’t Find My Way Home”

“Can’t Find My Way Home” is a song written by Steve Winwood which was first released by Blind Faith on their 1969 album Blind Faith. Rolling Stone, in a review of the album, noted that the song featured “Ginger Baker’s highly innovative percussion” and judged the lyric “And I’m wasted and I can’t find my way home” to be “delightful”.

The first Blind Faith concert was on 7 June in front of an estimated 100,000 fans in Hyde Park, London, but they felt that they had not rehearsed enough and were unprepared. They subsequently played concerts in Scandinavia and the US, but the lack of material in the live set led them to play old Cream and Traffic songs which pleased the audience but disillusioned the band.

Clapton became increasingly isolated during the tour, preferring to spend time with support act Delaney & Bonnie, and the band split up immediately after their last performance on the tour. Clapton and Winwood both enjoyed the music that they played together in the group’s limited time, and they have since collaborated on several tours playing Blind Faith material. wiki

    9. Yes indeed, even crowns for some. I used to argue with him when I was five because he wouldn’t just pick me up and take me to heaven. I would stand in a field and wait in the rain. We are alive for a reason. God is Great!!! ❤️🌸🙏☕️

    10. Thank you so much for saying that it is truly appreciated. We are not defined by how we grew up. We can break the cycle and be warriors. God held me up through all my abuse as a child and teenager and I am no longer that helpless person. I am strong, stubborn if I believe in something and am not afraid to be bold. I always go with kindness first. I bet we are a lot a like. Thanks for being such a great friend. I am going to bed now and wake up to that Robin with coffee. Can’t wait, thank you. Love Joni ❤️💕💖☕️☕️
