  1. I had forgotten this song but I love the sexy sound of the music and his voice. The video is excellent, provocative and who hasn’t had a lonely New Years which the video seems to be portraying? Great post, this calls for another cup of coffee. Have an amazing day love 💕 Joni

    1. Good day Joni! The Captain Of
Her Heart is all that you have stated. As a captivating, unique sounding song, it should have charted better. Let’s hope that it will make a comeback. After all, music comebacks are possible thru tech upgrades, group changes and covers. Hope that you are having a superb day and enjoying the best cup of coffee!👌🙏👍

      1. I am indeed my friend. I hope this song does make a comeback as I was definitely moved by its excellent lyrics and sexy music. Have an amazing day. Hugs 🤗 Joni.

        1. I definitely will! I am amazed at the strong music that has come out of the UK, Switzerland etc. totally rhythmic and the groups always sing with an English dialect! Yep! They are good!

          1. Yes they certainly are my friend. I feel the hugs and will propel myself with purpose this week. Wishing you safety, great music, lots of love and sending coffee cups full of adventure for your week. ❤️💕☕️☕️Joni

          2. You too! Feel free in sharing your coffee ideas! Purée bananas with coffee hazelnut and pecans are so good.☕️☕️☕️

          3. Will do. I bought grits yesterday. Looking forward to making my honey shrimp and grits. I read about that on your site. Sounds marvelous. He has had them before out but I have never made them, so looking forward to it. You have an amazing day my friend. Love 💕 J

          4. Best wishes with the New Orleans dish… I know it is going to be wonderful. I haven’t had them yet. But I will as my taste mood changes… I am currently enjoying shrimp, ribs, chicken, but not grits. I am more of a brown rice, couscous and fine pasta eater and the same for my family… love Indian, Thai, Italian and Asian spices!👍

          5. Oh thanks my friend. I ended up not making the dish yesterday, so today is the day. I don’t usually eat grits either but I think they will be tasty. When I was little I would occasionally eat grits but with lots of red-eye gravy. We also enjoy all types of food as well. I hope you have an amazing and blessed day my friend. Take good care. Sending love, hugs, some Chaka Khan, and flowers 🌸 🌺💐 Joni

          6. The shrimp and grits will eventually come up on my menu, but slowly as the Summer settles in. I have been making wholesome Thai foods, especially their Seafood soup Potak! Red- eye gravy sounds interesting.🤔Please do share the results of your Shrimps and grits and Mr. Make It Happen really goes for comments. Chaka Khan Hugs to you Joni, with pouring fragrances of fun!🌺🌺🌺

          7. Thank you for the great aromas and your Chaka Khan hugs, I know those will be lovely hugs. Red-eyed gravy is a brownish gravy made from salt pork. You buy a leg which has been cured in salt and even after you wash it off in the sink with water for several minutes, you can only stand to eat a piece the size of coffee lid due to the excessive amount of salt. As a kid it tasted great. Sending great things back to you my friend. Love and hugs Joni

          8. A delicacy! Sounds yummier and yummier! You may want to share the itemized ingredients and preparation and photo. It would make for a great share too.

          9. I will do that. My honey doesn’t eat meat other than sea food. I did take a picture. Hugs to you dear friends. Love 💕 Joni

          10. Many of my siblings have become vegans, etc. But my household eats just a little of everything. Can’t go wrong with moderation, for now. ❤️

          11. I agree, I am one who enjoys all foods. It costs a fortune to buy food for a vegan. I have told him I draw the line there. hehe
You and I sound a bit a like my friend. I certainly hope you have an amazing and blessed day. Get some great tunes going and have a cup of coffee full of dancing fairies and fireflies to keep it hot and lit. Love Joni

          12. I see and feel those fireflies.. Thanks kindly for stopping over for coffee and enjoying “Captain of her heart”. It certainly is coffee music. I was a vegan years ago because being a vegan was an “in” thing as with the new age concepts, but it was not expensive then. The health food stores are not compassionate for keeping people healthy at charitable costs. Sad.😞

          13. So very true. We limit carbs, etc. but for a treat I make my man some fattening but wonderful meals. We both have excellent cholesterol readings too. All great points though and you are right you can’t eat like that and stay slim if you do it a lot. I am glad you could see the fireflies. Love 💕 ya ☕️☕️☕️❤️

          14. Totally true. We are very allergic to MSG and get migraines from it. There is a large book called the Headache Book that I read years ago. MSG is often hidden with lots of different names. The most common is natural flavors. If the amount of MSG is not very high they are allowed to use other names to disguise this harmful chemical which actually affects your brain chemistry. Excellent point my friend. Hope you are having an amazing day off. Love and hugs 🤗 Joni ☕️☕️💕

          15. Hidden indeed. I have never encountered so many food preservatives as during these present times. Have a beautiful week! 💕💕🌺🌺💕💕

          16. You too my dear friend. Sending buckets of hugs your way. Love to you ❤️💕☕️☕️☕️💕Joni

    1. Thank you for stopping by. Kurt Maloo is a memorable artist for me. I have always loved this smooth song with a sax that is so pre Kenny G. Our world is moving much too fast especially when time can take a one-hit wonder as ‘The Captain of her Heart’ and bury it away from its continual, due successes. I would love to hear this song come around again and again in its origin and by covers.
